Well, how many New Year's resolutions have you stuck to this year so far? I didn't make many so I don't
have to stick to many, but here we are again very proudly updating the diary a month later (give or take!).
News
on the foot front is a bit depressing, we are now not one, but nearly two months later and so far the stubborn bone is refusing
to heal. I have decided to go into denial and by chance my riding boots are a size too big and therefore I can squeeze
into them. So riding is very much back on the agenda and all the poor horses are suffering unprecedented amounts of
sitting trot! We have even embarked on a series of dressage competitions in the absence of being able to jump much.
Very exciting news is that we have teamed up with Aqueos, an exciting new range of anti-bacterial products that are water
based but still kill 99.99% of all bacteria including ringworm and strangles. They have provided us with their full
range of products which are proving to be invaluable both in the yard and on the truck. You can view these products
on their website www.aqueos.co.uk , it is well worth a look as I can honestly recommend all of them.
Our new 6 year old who has now been re-christened
by Arthur, 'Magic Force Horse' is going really well, he jumped a lovely clear round at his first show the other day
and we are looking forward to his debut event in a few weeks time.
I am glad to say that Frank and Jack are now
clipped out and feeling very well for it. All the horses are fit and well and desperate to get out and get going - having
had a slightly stilted start due to no fault of their own! Our first event is Aldon, closely followed by Gatcombe and
then the International ones start. Lets hope the foot holds up through all these events so that I can do all these lovely
horses justice!
