Fiona (Boo) Hobby has been riding since childhood. She was British Junior Showjumping Champion
by the age of 12, Hickstead Junior Chamption twice and has represented her country numberous times in both showjumping and
eventing. In 1996, her first season eventing, she was 12th at the Windsor Three Day Event and qualified for Badminton,
the most prestigious event in the world, riding The Maverick. In 2003 Fiona again qualified for Badminton, this
time on the home produced ex-race horse, Le Chef - she jumped one of only four clear rounds inside the time.
In the same year she and the recently acquired Smart Approach won Aldon CCI 1* Three Day Event. She has successfully
completed numberous CCI and CIC 3* events and was a finalist at the World Cup Championships in Malmo in 2006.
With help on hand from many of the country's top trainers, including Jennie Loriston-Clarke for dressage,
Tina and Graham Fletcher for showjumping and British Team Trainer Yogi Breisner, Fiona is set to go from strength to strength
in 2007. All of Britain is on alert for 2012 and Fiona is not planning to be left behind!
Fiona specialises in producing event horses from unproven youngsters to high level competition horses. She
will search far and wide to find the talent and temperament needed to make a top class horse and is really proud of the
horses she produces. Fiona is always happy to show the horses she currently has in training fwhich range rom a
just broken three year old to top level eventers.

In
2006 Fiona successfully found a number of horses for clients both amateur and professional - ranging from genuine all-rounders
to potential superstars. She prides herself in taking the time to understand exactly what a client is looking for
to ensure a perfect match of horse and rider. She also offers a unique after sales service of ongoing training and advice.
Hobby
Sport Horse is a true team effort and Fiona is supported by her husband Jolyon and two boys Arthur, age 4 and Oscar
age 2. Jolyon is always on hand at events to entertain owners and sponsors. Head Groom of two years, Rachel
Norden is invaluable and takes great pride in her horses. She was rewarded by winning the best turned out prize at the
British Open Championships in 2006.
Fiona
is also a fully qualified sports injury therapist.
